I was born in Mantua in 1966 and after a few years studying electric organ, I started playing drums in 1981 and since then I have not stopped. I always had a good sense of rhythm and self-taught I immediately started playing with my first group, which later we named the Psychoes Riders: We were performing covers of The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, and our own songs. My Training was therefore the '70s rock. The meeting with another group, The "Ipotesi Volanti", introduced me to another group to which they are closely linked: Pink Floyd. With them I performed some covers of famous British band and some songs of our own. Once i terminateded this experience I started different collaborations with other groups, the "XL" with Italian covers and the "Incuria", performing religious songs rock rearranged. Then it was the time of the Giant Steps, the group with whom I've played the greatest number of concerts, we performed U2 and The Police covers. After a decade of collaboration, the group broke up and I began to collaborate with other groups: the Seven Nippons (cartoons covers), the Monopolies (Police covers), the "Punto e Basta" (various covers), the "Musicart" with the bassist Fiorenzo Delegà currently playing with Christian Meyer, Elio drummer, and guitarist Alberto Ferrarini that played in the TV programs of Adriano Celentano. The last group I played with is the "Sestogrammo Groove Band", funk and soul band. As you can see I've always had the desire to change, dealing with new genres with a simple but effective spirit, maybe I think, I always listened to every kind of genres and I'm always open to new experiences. Now I'm facing this new adventure with Local Heroes with hope and enthusiasm.
