My story begins as a musician when I was 10. I started to tickle the ivories on a "piano-keyboard" by Bontempi, four octaves.

Seriously, when I was 16, I started playing with a group of friends, fashioning among the feasts in the neighborhood with a 360 degrees cover for 5 years (the legendary "Festivo 42"), searching for the right groove.

Then I had the chance to play with at least 2 different and some other occasional collaborations, acquiring new experiences and living very different music group dynamics, some of them very engaging, others, such as the last one, very disappointing.

For me, music is primarily a social factor, you have to share with someone. I can not imagine myself playing alone with headphones for a lifetime!

I learned playing having fun in rock band and not sweating at the conservatory, but I do not despise technical exercises (scales, Hanon ...) or further theory subjects (especially harmony and ear training).

Ten years ago I would have never thought to accept Stefano proposal to join the Local Heroes, but now I think I'm a keyboard player mature enough to know how to offer the emotions that Dire Straits and Mark Knopfler music know how to expresses. As I said once "... It's a great music, an honor to play it, a must to play it well."
